IL Route 53/120 Blue Ribbon Advisory Council The Illinois Route 53/120 Blue Ribbon Advisory Council is working to identify consensus around options for the Illinois Route 53 corridor in central Lake County and develop a framework of principles to guide future study of the corridor configuration, timing and financing.

The Tollway will look to the Advisory Council to recommend a series of best practices for an integrated, multi-modal corridor that is financially viable, environmentally sustainable and socially responsible.
