Explanation of Terms
- Contract Number: Number assigned to contract
- Description: Scope of work
- Notice to Proceed: Date in which contractor is able to begin work related to the contract
- Start Date: Date in which contractor is on-site and beginning work
- Contract Completion Date: Estimated completion date
- Contract Award Amount: Original amount Board of Directors approved to be spent on contract
- Contract Authorized Amount: Amount approved based on original award amount and any change orders or extra work orders applied to contract
- Board Approval Date: Date in which the Illinois Tollway Board of Directors approved the contract
- DBE Advertised Goal: Diversity staff establishes specific numerical contract goals for participation of DBE/MBE/WBE certified firms on construction contracts and professional service contracts
- Project Phase: Phase the contract is currently in
- Route: Illinois Tollway corridor in which contract is located
- Location: Contract limits defined by mile posts
- County: County(ies) in which the contract is located
- Prime Contractor: Contractor responsible for the completion of the contract
- Earned to Date: Amount which has been paid out by the Illinois Tollway on the contract
- Percent Complete: Percentage based on earned to date amount compared to the authorized amount
- Extra Work Order: Adding new work to a project that was not included in the original contract
- Change Order: Adding or subtracting quantities of work or materials on a contract
