In 2012, major projects include resurfacing pavement on a 22-mile section of the Central Tri-State between 95th Street and Balmoral Avenue, completing the reconstruction of the Tri-Level Bridge ramps linking I-294 and I-90 and beginning work on the new I-294/I-57 Interchange. Additional work on the corridor includes pavement rehabilitation between Half Day Road and Lake Cook Road and between Atkinson Road and Rockland Road. Ramp reconstruction also is scheduled at the U.S. Route 20, I-55, I-190/O'Hare, River Road, Kennedy Expressway, Illinois Route 120 and Illinois Route 173 interchanges.
