Mentor/Protégé Partnership Program

The Tollway has created the Mentor/Protégé Partnership Program in an effort to facilitate professional service consultants in meeting stated Disadvantage Business Enterprise/Minority Business Enterprise/Women Owned Business Enterprise (D/M/WBE) goals.

We help certified D/M/WBE firms:

• Build their capacity through participating in a prime consultant role
• Become and/or remain self-sufficient, competitive and profitable business enterprises

Benefits

Under this program, the professional service consultant (mentor) will receive 20 percent credit towards meeting its contractual D/M/WBE participation requirements through participating in this Partnership Mentor/Protégé Program. To be eligible, the protégé (D/M/WBE) must self-perform not less than 15 percent of the services of the contract at the prime level. If this requirement is satisfied, the mentor will receive an additional 5 percent credit for successfully participating in the Mentor/Protégé Partnership Program.
