The Illinois Tollway has begun a project to resurface and widen the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355) from 75th Street to the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88), scheduled for completion by the end of 2009. Landscaping work continues on the South Extension from I-55 to I-80.
