Effective August 27, 2009, the Governor recently signed into law an amendment to section 10/16 and 16.1 of the Toll Highway Act, 605 ILCS 10. The new law removes the requirement that the Tollway advertise its procurements above the small purchase threshold in a newspaper of general circulation and instead requires that they be published solely in the Illinois Procurement Bulletin.
