The Illinois Tollway anticipates completing mainline pavement reconstruction in early April in conjunction with construction of the new westbound Fox River Bridge which opened in December 2009. Some landscaping under the bridge near IL Route 25 will continue until May. In addition, repair work on the EJ&E Railroad Bridge over I-88 will impact mainline traffic below. All work will be completed by the end of 2010.
Illinois Department of Transportation work will impact Illinois Tollway drivers on the east end of the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88).
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is resurfacing the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) from the terminus of the Tollway just east of the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) to the Circle Interchange in Chicago at I-90/I-94. Delays can be expected.
