I love the fact that I can sleep just a few minutes extra because of my
I-PASS. It might not make a lot of difference to some people, but when I only
get 5 or 6 hours of sleep because I got out of work late and I start classes
really early in the morning, even if it's just 10 minutes extra sleep time, it
makes a lot of difference. I can't imagine not having it.

I LOVE MY I-PASS! I have had I-PASS for about four years now, it was a
Christmas present from my dad. When I received it, I was attending college in
southern Indiana and would spend at least an extra hour coming home to Elmhurst
sitting at the toll boths. My mom and I were the first to have it. Now everyone
in my family has it! My mom in her car, dad in his van, my brother, and my
cousin! I honestly do not know what I do without it! I can not imagine sitting
in line again to pay for a toll!! It has taken up to 30 minutes off my drive
from Indianapolis to Elmhurst!! Thank you to the person that started I-PASS
from the whole Kuczwara Family!!!!!

Since graduating NIU in '99, I have been travelling the Tollways of
Illinois regularly and never remember to have enough change with me prior to
getting on the Tollway. Since this is a source of aggravation, I decided to get
my I-PASS, even though I don't live in the ChicagoLand area any more. Since 1
Jan 05, seeing the toll increases made me more thankful than ever since I don't
have to stop, don't have to fish or go through manual lanes and hold up
traffic. After spending much of this weekend on the Tollway, I don't know that
I could live without my I-PASS!!!! If you don't get one, get over and let us
through!

Living in Bourbonnais and working in Mt. Prospect means I pay 8 tolls a
day. Having I-PASS has cut 30 minutes off my daily commute. I-PASS is a
wonderful thing! I still can't believe people pay with cash! They don't know
what they are missing!

I have had I-PASS since I moved to Illinois. I don't understand why would
anyone not have one. It costs you NOTHING! And it lets you go right by, just
like the telephone number for I-PASS says: U C I-PASS. I love this number. So
smart!

The I-PASS is the best invention since Caller ID. I was frequently running
late due to paying tolls until I obtained my I-PASS. After that I was early,
and that is great since I used to have to leave 1.5 hours early just to be on
time for work. It is great!

I've had one I-PASS for a few years for my cars, switching the transponder
back and forth depending upon the car driven. Since I didn't want to switch the
transponder over and over, I chose to get additional transponders to eliminate
the problem. Besides, beginning 2005 if I forget to switch it, I would be
paying higher tolls.
The sheer satisfaction of not having to stop and go not only saves me time and
hassle especially on a cold, rainy, or snowy day, but it's also my small
contribution to the planet with lower automobile pollution. For me, its a no
brainer to have a separate transponder for each vehicle one may own, especially
now. It's going to save you money.

I love how much time my I-PASS saves me. I got it about 2 years ago when I
was going to school in the suburbs and I still have it to this date, even
though I only get to use it once in a while. It is well worth it in my opinion
to be able to go through the I-PASS lane on I-355 instead of waiting in line
for the people that never have their money ready!

WOW! The I-PASS is soooo much better than the old way of paying. I don't
travel the Tollway daily, but when I do it won't be such a problem fishing for

Love, Love, Love my I-PASS. I recently used my husband's car when mine was
in for service and forgot to take my transponder. I had I-PASS withdrawal when
I had to sit in the Devon toll plaza to toss in my coins. Its great, everyone
should have one!

After I heard the debates on Tollways and I-PASS, I thought of how I use
the Tollway from Joliet to Aurora. I have to make sure that I have enough coins
to pay. Now I use I-PASS, I feel peace of mind that I don't always have to
check that I have money. The online managment on I-PASS is a great benefit and
keeps the funds flowing. Great. I recommend I-PASS for peace of mind.

I used to carry all these coins neatly sorted out in my van every time I
came to Chicago, which in my case is several times a month. If I took a
different car (my wife and I have 3), I would have to go to the manual lane,
thus wasting even more time. The transponder now goes back and forth between 4
cars at home and is a real time saver. I don't know how I got by without one!

I purchased my I-PASS when I took a job in Illinois more than 5 years ago.
It was a major sanity saver with my daily commutes from the Milwaukee area and
job-related travel around the Chicago area. And every minute not spent waiting
in line for the manual lanes and digging for change was a bonus and a source of
smug satisfaction. Now that I've married and relocated, I've hung on to my
I-PASS and my husband has come to appreciate it when we travel to visit family
around and beyond Chicago. Especially now that we've got twins clamoring for
attention in the back seat! I've even recommended them as considerate birthday
and christmas presents - thats how my sister got hers. Now she's hooked!!

I wanted to tell everyone about how helpful the Tollway people are when the
I-PASS battery fails. I have a unit that does not beep. One day I noticed the
lights did not go on, so I called the help line and drove to the Tollway
building to get a new I-PASS. I was in and out in under five minutes and with

I travel frequently up into Wisconsin and use I-88 and I-294/94 to get
there. Since I have been using my I-PASS account, I have been able to shave up
to twenty minutes off of my average trip, due to not having to wait in line to
pay the toll at the Oak Brook toll on I-88 and the several I-294/94 toll
plazas. The twenty minutes of savings is average and can be more, depending on
traffic levels. I-PASS also makes expense control a lot easier, as most of my
travel is on business. I LOVE I-PASS!

I would recommend I-PASS to all of you, because . . . 1. You save almost 10
minutes each way, 10 x 2 x 20 = 400, that is 400 minutes per month, that is 6
hours and 40 minutes with family!!! 2. I-PASS does not cost anything extra that
you will pay at the toll booth!! 3. Don't have to look for change near toll
booth, so you will avoid accidents!! 4. If all of us drivers have I-PASS, there
is no reason for congestion near the toll booth!! That is cleaner air, better
mileage and stress-free drivers!! Good luck!!

I received my I-PASS for my birthday and it's by far the best gift I have

I-PASS is a great safety feature. I no longer have to sort out coins for
the next toll instead of staying on focus driving. I also like not having to
lower the window. Several months ago I paid the toll and my drivers side power
window failed and drove 40 miles with cold winter air rushing in the car.

I attend Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, the Albert A. Robin campus.
Its about a 45 minute commute in good weather and an hour commute in bad
weather. I'd always take the tollway to Willow Road and exit on Willow then
take Palatine to Arlington Heights Road. I'd hate exiting onto Willow and
having to fumble for change or find that I had no change whatsoever SO I
decided it was time to get an I-PASS. I really love I-PASS for the ease of use
and feel that it cuts down on travel time since I don't have to actually stop
at a toll booth to pay. I-PASS is a lifesaver!

I travel a great deal, both on the road and flying to other areas. My
I-PASS allows me quicker access to my customers, without the hassle of having
to search for change or waiting in line. I would, however, like to see the
I-PASS lanes, in all areas, changed to the type on I-355, especially those on

My husband and I travel 25 miles four times a week to attend the church in
our old neighborhood. Before we caught on to I-PASS, we were at the bank every
week getting nickles, dimes and quarters. One of us would have to fuss around

I noticed in the section of the website where people can comment on how they like I-PASS, there is the I Love My I-PASS slogan. That should be made into a bumper sticker then given to customers. It would be a nice gift and would also promote the use of I-PASS to other toll road drivers not currently using I-PASS. I’d put one on my vehicle. Just an idea.

Sycamore everyday and it makes driving less stressful. I'm not sure why

I-PASS is a great tollway tool. I use it all the time. I have family in various parts of Illinois and knowing that I can leave home without trying to figure out how much toll money I need is great. Also, using the credit card replenishment is wonderful as well. I don't have to worry about how much money to add to the account, or think about how much I will need. The alerts at the toll plazas are plain and visible and lets me know that it is time for replenishment. Keeping a minimum of $40.00 in my account is no biggie. I-PASS is the greatest invention to Illinois. I agree with another responder, I just can't understand why more Illinois drivers are not using I-PASS. It saves time, money, and havoc.

I got my I-PASS about a year ago, and I don't understand why such a small
percentage of Illinois moterists use the I-PASS. I never have to search for
change, I get to and from work faster, and in the winter, I don't have to roll
down the window and let cold air in. And now that they have added I-PASS only
lanes on exit/entrance ramps on I-355, I don't have to wait for all the
annoying non-I-PASS users. I tell everyone I meet how great it is. Until the
day all toll booths are removed, I will continue to use my I-PASS.

thought it was certainly a creative choice, I was less than thrilled by it
because I didn't think I would use it much. I subsequently changed my route to
work to go on the tollway. Since it was easier to use the tollway with I-PASS,
I thought I'd try it. Now, I LOVE I-PASS! I have thanked my mother daily for
her brilliant gift as the I-PASS facilitates my tollway driving.

I absolutely love my I-PASS. I don't actually travel on the tollways all that
often, but when I do, I never have to sit in the annoying line of traffic and
wait for the usually very slow people to, at the last second, search for their
loose change. Instead I go sailing along without a care in the world. I love it
so much that I bought it for my husband, my parents and my in-laws. Now they
love their I-PASS too.

have the on-line service to replenish my I-PASS account sooner.
