If you were an I-PASS customer with an account in good standing (at the time of the violation(s) included on your notice) you may have received violations because your I-PASS account information is out of date. You do not need to schedule a hearing, simply:
Instructions for Non-I-PASS Customers
If you have received a violation notice and are not an I-PASS customer you can either pay the violation or schedule a hearing. within 21 days of the date of issuance. Requests for hearings will not be accepted after this deadline.
To Pay the Violation Notice, you can:
- Pay a Toll Violation Online
- Pay a Toll Violation In-Person at any Customer Service Center
- Pay by calling 1-800-824-7277.
- Pay by mail.
- Enclose a cashier's check or money order payable to the Illinois Tollway.
- Write the Notice Number on your cashier's check or money order.
- Indicate the amount of your payment in the place provided on the coupon.
- Return the coupon with your payment.

Violation Image Information
Images are available by mail and in person. They currently are not available online.
In order to request your image you must provide the following information:
- Violation Notice Number
- License plate number and state
- Daytime telephone number
- Mailing Address (if violation image is being mailed)
- Email address

Please note: The fee to have violation notices printed is 15 cents per image. For instance, if you have 12 violations then the cost for printing will be $1.80 ($0.15 x 12 = $1.80). Check must be received before violations are printed (personal checks are acceptable). Make check payable to the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority.
