Tri-State Tollway (I-294/I-94/I-80)
Overnight and off-peak closures are scheduled for pavement striping and bridge work.

November 3 – Overnight Lane Closures
  • Two southbound lanes between Wolf Road and 87th Street will close at 8 p.m. tonight, November 3, for pavement striping work. All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4.
  • One lane in each direction between Town Line Road and Half Day Road will close at 7 p.m. tonight, November 3, for bridge work. A second southbound lane will close at 8 p.m. All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4.
November 4 – Off-Peak Lane Closures
  • One northbound lane between Bradley Road and Buckley Road will close from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, for a concrete pour.
  • One southbound lane between Willow Road and Rand Road will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, for signage installation work.
  • One lane in each direction between Willow Road and Lake Cook Road will close from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, for signage installation.
November 4 – Overnight Lane Closures
  • One northbound lane between Dempster Street and Willow Road will close at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, for barrier wall relocation work. The lane will reopen by 5 a.m. on Thursday, November 5.
Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88)
Lane closures are scheduled for pavement striping and overhead sign work.

November 3 – Overnight Lane Closures
  • One westbound lane between Randall Road and Deerpath Road will close at 8 p.m. tonight, November 3, for overhead sign erection work. Three, full closures of 15-minute durations are scheduled after midnight. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4. The same closure is planned on Wednesday night, November 4, as a contingency in case of inclement weather.
November 4 – Overnight Lane Closures
  • Two eastbound lanes between Yackley Road and I-355 Interchange will close at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, for bridge joint repair work. The lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. on Thursday, November 5. The same closure is planned on Thursday night, November 5, as a contingency in case of inclement weather.
Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90)
Overnight lane closures are scheduled for pavement striping and culvert work.

November 3 – 4 – Overnight Lane Closures
  • One westbound lane from Stone Quarry Road to Town Hall Road will close at 8 p.m. tonight, November 3, for culvert work. The lane will reopen at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4.
  • One lane in each direction between Newburg Road and the South Beloit Toll Plaza will close at 7 p.m. tonight, November 3, for pavement striping work. The lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. on Thursday, November 5.
Work Zone Safety

A 45 m.p.h. speed limit is in effect 24/7 in all construction zones, whether or not workers are present. Drivers should continue to watch for changing traffic patterns and use caution, especially when workers are present. Illinois State Police have zero tolerance for drivers speeding in work zones. The minimum penalty for speeding in a work zone is $375. Posted signs advise motorists of a $10,000 fine and 14-year jail sentence for hitting a roadway worker. Keep Workers Alive – Drive 45.
