Whether you are a daily commuter or a long-distance traveler, the Illinois Tollway oases are a perfect stop on the way to your destination. The oases are located along the system and provide a variety of services and food options.

"Portrait of a Soldier" Exhibit on Display at Illinois Tollway Oases 

Portrait of a Soldier iconThe exhibit features a series of hand-drawn portraits of nearly all of the 326 Illinois men and women who have died while serving our country since September 11, 2001, and illustrates Governor Quinn's unwavering commitment to support Illinois' men and women in uniform. The exhibit is on display through Independence Day.

The Des Plaines Oasis building closed on March 16, so work can begin to remove the over-the-road structure as part of the $2.5 billion Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) Rebuilding and Widening Project. Read the news release.

Electric Vehicle Fast Charging Station

Drivers with a preloaded value on a CharJit card are able to use electric vehicle (EV) fast charging stations at the following Illinois Tollway oases: Des Plaines Oasis on the Westbound side and Eastbound side located on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), O'Hare Oasis on the Northbound side located on the Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294/I-80), and Chicago Southland Lincoln Oasis on the Northbound side located on the Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294/I-80).

What is an Oasis?

These pavilions offer a variety of food and retail options. Most of the facilities span the Tollway with a streamlined steel structure and breathtaking window-curtain walls. 7-Eleven convenience stores featuring Mobil fuel offer competitive gas prices* and most have car wash facilities.

*The cost of fuel is determined by a formula prescribed by the lease and these prices are monitored by the Tollway to ensure they are competitive
