Returning Users Questions
To retrieve your username, click on the "Forgot your username?" link. Enter your I-PASS account number or transponder number. Click "continue."
Where can I find my account number or transponder number?
- Your account number is on the receipt provided with your I-PASS purchase. Or, if you purchased your I-PASS at Jewel or Road Ranger, it will be found on the transponder activation label.
- The transponder number is located on your transponder above the barcode. The number begins with 015 and is eleven digits long. Include leading zeroes, but NOT any dashes, letters, spaces, or other special characters.
You will be asked the secret question that you created when you set up your username. Type in the answer that you created. Click "continue." Your username will be sent to the email address on your account.
To retrieve your password, click on the "Forgot your password?" link. Enter your username and click "continue."You will be asked the secret question that you created when you set up your account. Type in the answer that you created. Click "continue." A temporary password will be sent to the email address on your account. When you log in with the temporary password, you will be required to change it.
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system users will continue to use their current PIN. The I-PASS web site and I-PASS IVR login credentials are now independent of each other.
To avoid violations or disruption of service the Illinois Tollway recommends you regularly review your I-PASS account activity and update account information as necessary including: Confirming credit card information, Updating/adding license plates, Adding funds to your account, and Updating your email address.
