The Illinois Tollway is advising I-PASS customers to disregard phishing texts being sent to their phones from “Illinois Tollway Services” that detail a specific outstanding toll amount. If you receive a text and are unsure, please check your account online at www.illinoistollway.com or call our customer service center at 1-800-UC-IPASS (1-800-824-7277) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays.
I-PASS customers should delete any text that you receive stating an outstanding toll amount. The Tollway has been informed that this is a phishing scam claiming that recipients owe money for unpaid tolls.
If you receive a phishing text, please file a complaint at www.ic3.gov. That is a site dedicated to sharing information on Internet crimes across law enforcement agencies.
Pay Unpaid Tolls
Drivers on the Illinois Tollway system are required to pay unpaid tolls online.
Customers who do not have I-PASS are required to pay their missed tolls online within 14 days. Click below to learn how to pay your unpaid tolls online.
If you have received an invoice, you may also pay the invoice directly with the link.
Projects
The Illinois Tollway continues our mission to provide a safe and efficient system of highways. The Illinois Tollway understands how important it is to keep our customers informed. Through information about construction projects we work hard to provide you the fastest, smoothest and safest ride to your destination.
Get Real Time Roadway Condition and Incident Alerts
Tollway customers can "follow" each of the five tollways – the Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294/I-80), Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88), the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355), and the Illinois Route 390 Tollway – to receive real-time roadway incident and pavement condition information to help plan their trips.
Tollway Trip Tweets include information about the type of incident, the location by nearest crossroad and milepost, and the subsequent impact on traffic, such as lane closures. They also include information regarding pavement conditions during inclement weather.
Tollway Trip Tweets are an informational service to be used by customers only when they are not operating a vehicle. It is against the law to email, text or tweet while driving in Illinois.
Remember: If you see ANY vehicle stopped on the side of the road with flashing lights #GiveThemDistance. Slow down. Change Lanes Safely. #Move Over. It's the law in Illinois.
